Dinner with friends @ Oyster Bay Seafood Restaurant

Oyster Bay Restaurant is located at Bridges Town Square, Plaridel St. Alang-alang, Mandaue City. It’s a great place to eat.

They have a selection of Live and fresh seafood. They also serve meat and poultry.

We ordered Baked Scallops w/ cheese & garlic for only 150 pesos. This is Z & Dag2’s favorite. We love the taste.

We also ordered Kinilaw na Tangigue for Gerald for 140 pesos.  The fish taste sweet, it’s really fresh.

Of course our [yvon & me] all time favorite, Gambas for 240 pesos.

Malapascua Island – Cebu

Malapascua Island is located in north of Cebu. It’s 145 kilometers the city and it’s about 4 hour travel. The Island is famous of there white sand bar. There are lots of resort in the Island itself. Some are private property and some are commercial.

We stayed in a private resort just beside Bantigue Cove resort. We rented the place for overnight stay. This place will soon be named and  commercialized once its completely finished. The owner of this place is the same owner of Paradise Garden Resort on the same Island.

How to get to Malapascua Island?

From the airport, you need to go to the North Bus terminal located in North Reclamation Area. The terminal is just near SM Mall. From the terminal, you need to ride CERES Liner Bus going to Maya Port Area. Fare is 170 pesos per person for air-condition bus and 169 pesos for non-air-condition bus. I would suggest you take the air-con bus to relax yourself while enjoying the scenic view in 4 hours travel.

From Maya port, you need to ride a boat that cost 80 pesos/pax to get to the Island. It’s about 30-40 minutes to go across the Island. Last trip is 2pm so you can also make arrangement and rent the boat privately for 2400 to 3000 back n forth ride to cross the island so that you’ll never miss the the last trip.
